I have a kimono dressing lesson at home in Logan circle, Washington DC.  (The lesson place is small as in the picture.)

We also provide private lessons, group lessons, and Kimono dressing assistance in your own home. We have rental Kimono for adults and kids.

After graduating from university, I worked at a Japanese company for about 10 and a half years, earned a kimono dressing qualification at Naganuma Shizu kimono Gakuin, Shibuya School and Jiyugaoka School, and worked as a dressing teacher at the ceremony and other special occasions.

Dressing lesson concept

Every dressing classroom, textbooks, youtube, etc. have their own way of dressing, such as tying strings and obi.In "Seyama Kimono", we will propose a kimono that you have and a dressing method that suits your experience.

For those who are learning to dress for the first time, tying an arm around your back all the time is as tired as a kind of "sports".Therefore, I would like to propose an easy obi knot as much as possible, so that you can enjoy dressing happily.

"Seyama Kimono" offers not only the course menu but also one-off lessons. I hope that you can skip the parts that you can do yourself, and learn how to dress freely, such as checking only the obi, kimono, and those who are not confident in their own style.
